  Donnie Shedd

  President (2022-2024)


As the Paralegal for the Office of the City Solicitor for the City of Manchester, NH, Donnie is in the unique position of being able to work on both criminal prosecution matters and various civil matters, simultaneously, on behalf of the nine attorneys he works for. In addition to his daily role and duties as a paralegal, Donnie is also his office’s point person for Body Worn Cameras, the system administrator for his office’s case management system, and the Terminal Agency Coordinator for his office’s NCIC/SPOTs license and terminal.

Donnie graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2008 with Bachelor-of-Arts Degrees in Justice Studies and Sociology. He earned his Paralegal Studies Certificate from NHTI in 2016, graduating with High Honors as Co-Valedictorian and recently graduated from Granite State College with a Master’s of Science in Leadership as well as a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership. Donnie’s Master’s Degree Capstone project was an examination into the expansion of post-hire training for paralegals in the State of New Hampshire.

Donnie has almost fifteen years of experience working in New Hampshire’s criminal justice system, having previously worked as an Emergency Services Dispatcher and Police Services Specialist for two police departments in the State. Donnie is also a sworn Justice of the Peace for the State of New Hampshire and serves on the Advisory Board for the Middlesex Community College Paralegal Studies Program.

Nicole E. Morrissey, RP

Vice President/Annotator Editor (2022-2024) 

Nicole has over ten years of experience in the legal field, in both criminal and civil matters.  She is currently a litigation paralegal at Devine Millimet & Branch, P.A.'s Manchester, NH location.  

Nicole received her B.A. in Political Science from Merrimack College in 2010. She received her CORE Registered Paralegal designation in 2015, and Registered Paralegal designation in 2020, from the National Federation of Paralegal Associations.  She joined the Paralegal Association of New Hampshire in 2015, and has served as a Director-at-Large, Secretary, and currently as Vice President and Editor of The Annotator.


Wendy McInnis

Treasurer; Director-At-Large (2021-2023)

Wendy has worked in the field for 25 years and currently works as a civil litigation paralegal at Bernstein Shur Sawyer & Nelson, PA. Wendy received her A.S. in Paralegal Studies from Nashua Community College. After graduation she worked at the Hillsborough County Attorney’s Office then went on to be a part of the AmeriCorps Victim Assistance Program then ventured into private practice where she has worked since.  Wendy joined the Paralegal Association of New Hampshire in 2018.

Natalie J. Baker, CRP

Secretary (2021-2023)

Natalie is a Senior Contracts Administrator where she is part of a contracts negotiation team with BAE Systems. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Legal Studies from Northeastern University School of Law. Prior to that she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Southern New Hampshire University and her Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies from NHTI, Concord's Community College.  Natalie earned the CORE Registered Paralegal designation from NFPA in February of 2019 and joined PANH in 2018.   

Kelly Delaney

NFPA Primary Liaison/Social Media Coordinator (2021-2023)

Kelly graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a pre-law B.S. degree. She received her Paralegal Studies Certificate from the New Hampshire Institute of Technology in 2017. Later that year, she joined PANH and pursued the Social Media Coordinator Committee Chair. Kelly is a corporate paralegal at McLane Middleton, P.A.

Melanie A. Scargill

Director at Large (2021-2023)

Melanie works as a litigation paralegal and has over 20 years’ experience in the field.  She graduated with High Honors from New Hampshire Technical Institute (NHTI) with a Certificate in Paralegal Studies.

In 2016, Melanie delivered the commencement address at NHTI’s graduation reception for the Certificate in Paralegal Studies program.  Melanie also holds an A.S. in Business Administration from Camden County College.

Laura Keeler

Director at Large (2021-2023)

Laura has worked in both public and private legal practice areas. She worked at the US Dept. of Justice, Antitrust Division in DC before returning to her native NH. She worked at a small firm in Concord and is now with the NH Bar Association, assisting lawyers with member services and law practice management. 

Laura attended Middlebury College, earning a B.A. with honors in political science. She interned as a teaching assistant for Law and Government. Laura also attended NHTI’s paralegal program. She received the PANH Scholarship Certificate in 2017 and is proud to join the PANH Board this year. Laura earned the CP designation from NALA. 

Alex Shepherd

Director at Large (2021-2023)

Alex Shepherd is a paralegal who previously worked for a civil litigation firm in Portsmouth, NH that specializes in debt collection on behalf of prominent credit card companies, banks, and credit unions in Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. A newcomer to the field, this is his first job in the paralegal field having just started in March 2021. However, he joined PANH in May 2020 when he was earning his Paralegal Studies certificate from Boston University. Previously, he attended the New England School of Communications and Husson University in Bangor, Maine where he studied video production. In September 2021, he was invited to join the board of PANH having been a frequent attendant to its board meetings to which he accepted.

Kimberly Cushing

Director at Large (2022-2024)

Kimberly believes that developing strong relations is foundational in understanding attorney’s and clients' needs and expectations. She has worked with small, private firms in a variety of areas of law. She is now working for The Law Offices of Thomas E. Dewhurst III, PLLC. Kimberly attended Saint Anselm College, earning a B.A. in English. Prior to working in the legal field, she worked as a Behavior Specialist in the Educational field. Over the summer and during breaks, she was able to work at a law firm and absolutely fell in love with the law. She completed the Paralegal Studies Certificate Program at Boston University. She is currently studying for the PCCE designation from NFPA.

AnnMarie Scott

Director at Large (2022-2024) 

AnnMarie is currently employed at the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office, Criminal Bureau as their drug unit paralegal, and has also spent the last 10 years working part-time as a recording clerk for the Town of Hooksett’s Planning Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment. She has experience in criminal law, forfeitures, personal injury, family law, municipal law, property tax law, eminent domain, trusts and estates, and mutual fund law. In 1992, AnnMarie received her A.S. in legal secretarial studies from Marian Court College and in 1999 she received her B.S. in paralegal studies, summa cum laude, from Boston University. In 2021, she received her national paralegal certification by the National Association of Legal Assistants. AnnMarie is also a Notary Public and Justice of the Peace for the State of New Hampshire.


Josie A. Estes

NFPA President-Elect

Josie is Trust and Estate Paralegal at McLane Middleton. Josie graduated with an Associates of Science degree in Paralegal Studies from Hesser College in 2011. She joined the Paralegal Association of New Hampshire (PANH) soon after.  She served on various PANH committees as well as the Board of Directors as Secretary, Vice President, and Primary Representative to the National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Inc. (NFPA). Josie served in this capacity for four years while concurrently serving on various PANH and NFPA Committees.

In October 2015 Josie was elected to the NFPA Board of Directors as the Director of Region V. In this role, Josie assisted the eleven Associations within the states of VT, NH, MA, CT, RI, and NY, as the liaison to the Board.  She served in this capacity for four consecutive terms between the years of 2015 and 2019. In July of 2021 Josie was again elected to the NFPA Board of Directors, this time as NFPA's President-Elect. In this role, she shadowed the president until October 2022 when she took the oath of office to serve as NFPA President for a two-year term.  In October 2024 Josie will step into the role of the NFPA Board Advisor where she will serve through October 2026.

Catherine D. Curtis

NFPA Region V Director

Cathy is a Trust and Estate Paralegal at McLane Middleton. She assists attorneys and clients in a variety of matters with an emphasis in trust administration and funding, probate administration and related estate tax returns.

Cathy received an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from Hesser College and her Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from Notre Dame College.  Cathy earned her Certified Paralegal designation from the National Association of Legal Assistants/Paralegals (NALA) in 2019.

Cathy is currently serving as Vice Region Director Chair (2021) and Region V Director (since 2019) for the National Federation of Paralegal Associations (NFPA).  She is also a member of the Paralegal Association of New Hampshire (PANH) and had served in various Board positions prior to becoming NFPA’s Region Director.
